Tuition Insurance Coaching Program Service Agreement

Effective date: January 1, 2024 (Last updated: January 1, 2025)

1. Introduction

This Service Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by and between Auxilium College Advisors ("Company") and the customer ("Customer") who purchases the Tuition Insurance Coaching Program. By completing a purchase and checking the agreement box, the Customer agrees to the terms and conditions outlined below.

2. Services Provided

The Tuition Insurance Coaching Program includes the following:

  • Access to two digital courses:
    • Pen to Power: Writing Your Way Into College (college essay course)
    • Roadmap to Hidden Scholarships & Other Free Money for College (scholarship course)
  • Three (3) thirty-minute one-on-one coaching sessions with an Auxilium advisor
  • Access to YouScience, a third-party career and aptitude assessment platform

3. Digital Course Access

Customers enrolled in the Tuition Insurance Coaching Program will receive access to the above digital courses for 48 months from the date of purchase or until 90 days after the student begins college, whichever is longer. The Company reserves the right to update, relocate, or discontinue course content or platforms as needed, with reasonable notice provided when possible.

4. Duration of Services

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the three included coaching sessions must be scheduled and completed within 60 days of purchase. Unused sessions after this period expire and are non-refundable.

5. Upgrade Credit

The full purchase price of the Tuition Insurance Coaching Program may be credited toward an upgrade to any of the Company’s packages that include student-focused services (Signature Roadmap or Platinum Blueprint). This credit does not apply toward the Funding Blueprint, which is a parent-only package.

6. Fees and Payment

Payment is due at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed in writing. All fees are non-transferable. Pricing is subject to change and will not affect previously purchased services.

7. Refund Policy

Refund requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected] within three (3) days of purchase. Requests submitted after this period may not be considered. Refunds may be denied if course content has been accessed, coaching sessions have been used, or YouScience access has been redeemed.

8. Performance Review & Goodwill Refund Policy

At Auxilium College Advisors, our goal is to deliver meaningful value. While we do not guarantee specific results, we do offer the following safeguard:

If the student demonstrates documented engagement — including logging into digital courses, completing recommended steps, and participating in scheduled sessions — and the Customer feels the program has provided no meaningful value, the Customer may request a review for a goodwill refund consideration. Determinations are at the sole discretion of Auxilium College Advisors and are final.

9. Completion Verification & Chargeback Policy

  • The Company may track logins, participation, and submission of required work to verify use of services.
  • If a refund or chargeback is requested, the Company will review whether the Customer engaged with the provided materials or completed necessary steps.
  • The Company reserves the right to dispute chargebacks using documented evidence of activity.

10. No Guarantee of Results

The Company cannot guarantee admission to any college, award of financial aid, or receipt of scholarships. Outcomes depend on multiple factors, including the Customer’s timely participation and external criteria outside the Company’s control.

11. Use of Third-Party Tools (YouScience)

The Tuition Insurance Coaching Program includes access to YouScience, an independent third-party software provider. By using YouScience, the Customer agrees to the YouScience Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Auxilium College Advisors is not responsible for the accuracy, availability, or outcomes of YouScience or any third-party tool. If YouScience becomes unavailable, the Company will make reasonable efforts to identify a comparable alternative but does not guarantee replacement.

12. Advice and Professional Limitations

While the Company provides educational and strategic guidance, this does not constitute legal, tax, investment, or financial advice. Customers should consult licensed professionals for decisions regarding their personal financial situation.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for any damages, including direct, indirect, or consequential losses, arising from the use or misuse of its services, digital products, or third-party tools.

14. Indemnification

The Customer agrees to hold harmless Auxilium College Advisors and its employees, contractors, and affiliates against any claims, liabilities, or damages arising from the Customer’s use of services or violation of this Agreement.

15. Termination

The Company may suspend or terminate access to services if the Customer violates this Agreement or fails to cooperate with necessary steps in the coaching process. The Customer may terminate this Agreement at any time by providing written notice. No refunds will be issued for terminated accounts unless required by law.

16. Clarification of Program Name

"Tuition Insurance" is the name of this coaching program and is not an insurance policy, contract of insurance, or financial product. The program provides educational guidance and planning support only. It does not provide indemnification or reimbursement of tuition or related expenses.

17. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California and the County of Los Angeles, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

18. Entire Agreement

This Agreement reflects the entire understanding between the Customer and the Company and supersedes any prior communications or representations.
