Service Agreement

Effective date: January 1, 2024 Ā Ā  (Last updated: January 1, 2025)

1. Introduction

This Service Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by and between Auxilium ("Company") and the customer ("Customer") who purchases services or digital products from the Company. By making a purchase, the Customer agrees to the following terms and conditions.

2. Services Provided

The Company offers college planning services that may include personalized guidance (one-on-one or group), financial aid and scholarship strategies, essay writing support, career planning, and self-guided online courses.

  • Some Customers may engage with the Company through personalized services.
  • Others may purchase self-directed digital courses, which are completed at the Customer's own pace.
  • Customers in one-on-one programs may receive complimentary access to these courses.

The specific services purchased will be outlined in your confirmation email or service agreement.

3. Fees and Payment

Payment is due at the time of purchase unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. All fees are non-transferable. The Company may adjust pricing at any time; such changes apply only to future purchases.

4. Duration of Services

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, full-service packages such as the Funding Blueprint, Signature Roadmap, and Platinum Blueprint are designed to support the Customer through the college enrollment process for the student named at the time of purchase. Services generally conclude 90 days after that student begins their college program.

FAFSA or financial aid support beyond the first year of college may be available for a nominal fee. If additional years of support are included in your package, this will be specified at the time of engagement.

5. Access to Digital Courses

Access to digital courses is provided to self-directed Customers for up to 48 months from the date of purchase. For full-service clients, course access is available for the duration of the engagement. The Company reserves the right to modify, discontinue, or transition course platforms as needed, and will make reasonable efforts to notify Customers in advance.

6. Refund Policy

Refund requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected] within three (3) days of purchase. Requests submitted after this period may not be considered. Accessing course materials or attending scheduled services may affect eligibility. All refunds are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

7. Advice and Professional Limitations

While the Company provides strategic guidance related to college planning, financial aid, scholarships, and related topics, this guidance does not constitute legal, tax, investment, or financial advice. Customers are encouraged to consult with licensed professionals for advice related to their specific financial or legal circumstances.

The Company and its representatives do not act as fiduciaries unless explicitly stated in a separate, written agreement. Any third-party services (such as insurance or tax planning) are governed by separate agreements and licensing requirements handled by those individual providers.

8. Completion Verification & Chargeback Policy

  • For self-directed courses, login activity and progress may be tracked.
  • For personalized services, timely submission of required materials (e.g., tax documents, financial data, essays) is expected.
  • If a refund or chargeback is requested, the Company will review participation records. Failure to complete required steps or engage with the material may result in denial of refund or chargeback disputes.

The Company reserves the right to dispute any chargebacks using verified activity records.

9. No Guarantee of Results

The Company cannot guarantee specific outcomes from its services or products. Results depend on the Customer’s participation, follow-through, and external factors beyond the Company's control.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for any damages, including direct or indirect losses, resulting from the use or misuse of its services or products.

11. Indemnification

The Customer agrees to hold harmless Auxilium and its staff, agents, and affiliates against any claims arising from the Customer’s misuse of services, breach of this Agreement, or violation of any law.

12. Termination

The Company may suspend or terminate access to services for violation of this Agreement or non-compliance with requests. Customers may terminate by sending written notice. No refunds will be issued for terminated accounts unless required by law.

13. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California and the County of Los Angeles.

14. Entire Agreement

This Agreement supersedes all prior understandings. No waiver or amendment is valid unless in writing.
